St. Pete Stand Up began in March 2022 with a single monthly show at St. Pete Brewing Co.

What started small quickly grew into a thriving comedy scene, expanding to 20+ shows a month across the city's top venues, including Dirty Laundry, Grand Central Brewhouse, Copa, Pinellas Ale Works, Foodie Labs, Sun Lab Brewing, and Lost & Found. From weeknights to weekends, we've built a home for comedy lovers all over St. Pete.

With the city's incredible support and rapid growth, we're proud to announce the evolution from St. Pete Stand Up to St. Pete Comedy Club, opening Summer 2026 (pending city approval). Renovations are underway, and the space is already coming to life, highlighted by stunning custom signage artwork from Leo Gomez.

It will be a dedicated space for local comedians to develop, sharpen their craft, and grow, while also bringing in talent from across the country that we couldn't host before. With an intimate room for 60+ guests, the club is designed to deliver the perfect comedy experience every night.
